When Twilight first hit, all the pressure was on Mr. Pattinson to make the vampire of women's fantasies come to life. Well he passed the test, and the now the torch onto the next man in line for the Twilight Saga: Taylor Lautner. The spot light on Taylor began when he started working out extra hard to reprize his role as Bella's best friend and Edwards rival, Jacob Black. Taylor went under a vigerous 11 month work out plan that almost got out of control. "My body fat got so low that we actually needed to increase it a little bit," he said. "My trainer would be like, 'Go have a huge milkshake just so I can get a thousand calories into your body.'" The director, Chris Weitz praised Taylor's dedication to the role, and he seems to be doing quite well under the pressure."I think that Taylor is really going to surprise people in the movie," Weitz told the magazine. "People have seen his body and all that stuff and it's a shocker because it's hard to believe that anyone can be quite so carved. But he actually delivers a really great performance. He wasn't just exercising all day, he was also reading the book quite a lot."
His co-star Kristen Stewart who worked more closely with him this round had nothing to say but good about him, comments even more adoring than that Robert's. "I love that kid. I would do anything for him. I would kill for him, literally."
I cannot believe all the people, going on and on about how much they hate Jacob. I know the character was a bit annoying but come on. Those becoming disgusted by the movie because theirs so much of him in it? Edward is still there, nothing wrong with a little Jacob. The story does very much involve him. And those taking it out on that actor, well they have no sense of reality. Bella is meant to be with Edward, doesn't mean we can't Enjoy a little friendship fun.
